Neuromuscular Research & Education

Integrative Neuromuscular Therapy is a thorough method of rehabilitation from acute and chronic pain syndromes which utilizes specific soft tissue manipulation techniques, flexibility stretching, joint mobilization, neuromuscular reeducation, client education and home care to eliminate the causes of most neuromusculoskeletal pain patterns and associated dysfunctions.

This scientific approach to somatic (soma=body) pain relief, balances the central nervous system with the musculoskeletal system, enhancing the patient’s awareness and adequate proprioception.
INMT is the perfect accompaniment to other healthcare modalities as it helps clients experiencing structural dysfunction, faulty biomechanics, and the accompanying pain.

INMT is used to locate and release spasm and hyper contraction in the tissues, eliminate trigger points; restore postural alignment, correct bio-mechanics and flexibility to the tissues; rebuild strength of injured tissues and assist venous and lymphatic flow.

Integrative Neuromuscular Therapy examines eight physiological factors
of capital importance in the treatment of somatic pain and dysfunction.

  1. Ischemia
  2. Trigger Points
  3. Nerve Entrapment/Compression
  4. Postural Distortions
  5. Faulty Biomechanics
  6. Nutrition
  7. Perpetuating Factors
  8. Emotional Wellbeing
