Dynamic Functional & Structural Evaluation - INMT 1
This seminar constitutes the foundation on which to obtain superior clinical outcomes in the treatment of myofascial pain and its associated dysfunctions.
Learn how to accurately perform a complete evaluation
of your patient, record your findings and identify
specific distortions of the musculoskeletal system,
all in user friendly forms specifically designed
by NERI. Then learn to prioritize a goal oriented,
step by step treatment protocol based on your findings.
You will have the opportunity to evaluate from a
structural (posture) and functional (movement) point
of view on several subjects, giving you the most
out of this dynamic hands on experience.
The following are some of the subjects that will be studied during this seminar:
- Proper evaluation of Lower Limb Length Differential and differential diagnosis between Structural LLLD and Functional or Pseudo LLLD and their respective treatment protocols.
- Evaluation of the longitudinal arch, transverse arch and subtalar joint as the foundation for proper stance and efficient gait.
- Distortions of the tibiofemoral joint, coxal joint and lumbo-pelvic complex, including smaller hemipelvis, will be analyzed.
- Dynamic evaluation of gait and its components, including the specific effects on the kinetic chain of hypertonic, painful musculature.
- Visual evaluation of the three fundamental static postures and their correlations with the five postural dimensions.
- Optional
patient home care plan, including neuromuscular
reeducation and specific controlled stretching
for efficient gait and posture
