Functional Evaluation and Treatment of the Shoulder Complex and Upper Extremities - INMT 3
In INMT 3 you will learn a functional evaluation protocol for the muscles that affect the shoulder complex.
Pathologies of the shoulder, arm, forearm,
wrist, hand ,such as, frozen shoulder, bicipital
tendonitis, medial epicondylitis, etc. and the role
of neuromuscular therapy in their alleviation.
Learn
how to identify and correct distortions caused by
hypertonic musculature in both, the scapulocostal
joint and glenohumeral joint. The role of LLLD (Lower
Limb Length Differential) as the cause of shoulder
complex distortion will also be analyzed.
- The following are some of the subjects that will be studied during this seminar:
- Functional evaluation of the myofascial and joint components of the shoulder complex.
- Myofascial interrelationship between the lower limb and the shoulder
- Upper cross syndrome theory and its application to pathologies of the shoulder and lower limb
- Improper shoulder and gate biomechanics and the internalization of momentum force in the soft tissues
- The five places for nerve entrapment and specific techniques to release them
- Optional patient home care plan, including neuromuscular
reeducation and specific controlled stretching
to improve efficient shoulder biomechanics
